Model Risk Management (MRM) Architecture

Governance framework for the ADAM Enterprise Digital Twin, aligned with the April 2026 overhaul of US MRM guidelines (SR 26-2 / OCC 2026-13).

1. The Agentic AI Carve-Out (SR 26-2)

Under SR 26-2, autonomous multi-step reasoning systems (Agentic AI) are explicitly excluded from the traditional definition of a "model." Consequently, Adam OS implements a bifurcated governance structure:

KILL-SWITCH PROTOCOL: If anomalous multi-hop graph queries are detected (e.g., a Public Twin agent attempting to traverse an MNPI edge), the MCP gateway will sever the JSON-RPC connection instantly.

2. Deterministic Exclusion (jsonLogic)

Because simple arithmetic and deterministic rules are excluded from MRM validation, Adam OS isolates all covenant monitoring and trading triggers into /libraries/jsonLogic_rules.json. This allows rapid policy updates without triggering a multi-month model re-validation cycle.

3. Algorithmic Contagion & Capital Constraints

To prevent the 10,000-entity digital twin from inducing procyclical liquidity crises during macroeconomic shocks, the Adam OS mathematically separates Point-in-Time (PIT) metrics from Through-the-Cycle (TTC) evaluations.

While the Scenario Lab displays highly volatile PIT data for trading agility, all calculations routed to the Basel IV RWA engines are smoothed using TTC countercyclical buffers. Furthermore, internal models are strictly bounded by the 72.5% Basel IV output floor.
